This book of memories focuses on Black Diamond families and coal miners that lived and worked in Black Diamond and other nearby coal mines. This unique collection of interviews takes us back to a time when life was much different than today. In their own words, folks tell tales of hardships and friendships; tales of toiling in the underground mines and dancing on Saturday night. Get a flavor of what life was like in the early days in Black Diamond.
