Join us as we go to back to the past! We'll explore the past 100 million years of geology and how events along the way set Black Diamond up for success in the modern day! As always, our presentations are free to attend!
Authors Cory and Diane are coming to visit! This event will feature a special presentation about their work in developing the Mining the Memories Book and preserving our history. They will also be available to autograph books. Please come and join us for an afternoon of great information, fun and treats!
Join us to learn about Virgil Bouge's setting out to Tacoma Pass and discover new paths the Green River led to. This trip from January to April led to the route being selected for a major railroad path through the area setting up an important link between Washington and the eastern parts of the US.
The Black Diamond Historical Society is pleased to host the Puget Sound Welsh Association to celebrate Welsh Heritage Day. They have a special event and presentation planned, beginning at 1 p.m. The museum opens at 11 am so come early to tour. Refreshments will be served after the presentation. Admission free.
